Christopher R. Collier
A native of Philadelphia, Chris is one of the Managers/Projectionists for the renovated 1928 Ambler Theater and uses his time there to catch as many new art-house and classic films as he can. While not opposed to blockbusters, Chris acts as the stodgy one on the Staff constantly forcing silent, foreign, and forgotten films down the throats of the other writers. Chris has a Master's from Oxford University in Musicology, where he besmirched the honor of the noble institution by not only writing about comics (dissertation title: The Sound of Batman: Musical Characterization in Comic Book Movies), but eroticism in the music of David Lynch films. Chris is the founder and pricipal designer for Helden Design and the webmaster for The Cardinal Review.
Kevin Feather
Kevin is an avid movie viewer and renter, and he very much enjoys the occasional novel. He can frequently be found in the local setting sampling various fares with boyhood cohort and brew mentor Chris Collier.
Stephen GoetzSteve has been enjoying movies since he remembers going to see The Goonies at age 5, even though the old lady scared the crap out of him at the time. His early memories also include watching Hook from the front row, being introduced to a crazy film called UHF by this kid named Chris, and sharing a tent with some other kid named Kevin. As he grew older and continued his education in Michigan and North Carolina, his love of film developed into a diverse taste which includes mentally challenging films, strangely stupid but amusing films, and surprisingly sweet and touching films. He now resides in Chicago where he works on environmental stuff, and does his best to expand his strange and varied film collection. If you've ever wondered how one person can enjoy Adaptation, Red Dawn, and What Dreams May Come all at the same time, please check out his reviews.
Andrew is a graduate of Cornell University and currently lives in Washington, DC where he works as the Climate Change Intern for Oceana. His favorite films include Braveheart, Old School, and Frankenhooker.
Justin WinslettJustin is a PhD student living Oxford, UK. When he is not mulling over his thesis in the fast-paced and highly relevant field of Classical Chinese Literature, he enjoys nothing more than to stop off at the local cinema or rifle through his film collection, which contains everything from contemporary comic-book and action flicks, classics from the '40s and '50s and obscure French animation.
